These tea plants were grown from seed in our Aquaponics system. I popped them out of their holders to show the roots. They were started on September 22nd, 2017 so they are about nine months old. For reference, the raft they are laid out on has two-inch holes through it.

We also finished clearing and planting another section of the area by the road. We planted thirty-seven more tea plants, fourteen of which were ones bought from Minto Tea near Salem. The rest were the "winter box" assamica plants. All of them are just under, or a bit over two years old. We now have a total of one hundred and seventeen plants transplanted in that area along the road.
