Tiny Tea Processing

After transplanting our one year old seedlings into the ground, they required a ‘haircut’. Since many of them also had new growth, we separated out the buds and new leaves from the pruning for processing.
Not a great deal of leaves. And they needed rinsed since they were close to the ground when we had a light rain that splattered dirt onto them. But it was still a fun activity considering how new we are to growing or making tea.
It was enough for us to make a small amount of green, as well as black tea.
