A Rural Phone Booth

Our New Year’s Day was cool but sunny which then required at least a token outing. Plans fell through for a hike and outdoor meal with friends so we opted to make the short (approximately 12 miles) scenic drive up to the phone booth and back around to our property. Our location is remote enough that we have neither landlines nor cell service at our property. However, there is a location just up over two ridges where we can tag a distant cell tower. Much shorter by line-of-sight, the “Phone Booth” is about five miles away by road.
