Two Steps Forward ... Well, You Know

It was nice to get done installing the new plastic fabric. Unfortunately, after inflating the fabric and a visit from some gusty winds, the top channel came apart. Yeah, definitely my bad. I never checked the condition of the wood to which the channel was attached. It had been painted, and the paint was fine .
The wood, however, was not. So now I have to obtain more wood, paint it, undo the top and some of the sides of the fabric, take apart the track and the old wood, install the new wood and cover it with flashing like the rest. Then, hopefully, I can reattach the track and fabric and be back to where I thought I was .
The first picture is right after the fabric was inflated and flashing put in place. The next two show the problem over the ensuing three or four days. Duhhh.
